You have:

  • Professional experience in graphic design.
  • Proficiency in creating multimedia content for social media, websites, and other communication platforms, including graphic design, and photo editing using tools such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Canva, etc.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in both Polish and English.
  • Proven experience in writing and editing content for social media.
  • Creativity and a team-oriented mindset.
  • A keen interest in the humanitarian/development sector, particularly in the areas related to migration, and alignment with the mission of the United Nations and IOM.
  • Fluency in Polish and English (both written and oral) is required.
  • Knowledge of additional languages, particularly Russian, Ukrainian, and/or Spanish, is an asset.

The Online volunteers will work under the supervision of the National Communications Officer at IOM Poland, with technical communications support from the IOM Poland Communications Team, and, where necessary, the Regional Office in Vienna. The UNV will assist in enhancing IOM Poland’s communication efforts, particularly in building a robust and cohesive visual identity. With the Global IOM Strategic Plan in place since 2024, IOM Poland is now shaping its direction for the coming years. A strong communication strategy, including visual identity, is crucial. Additionally, IOM Poland is actively engaged in multiple sectors under the Regional Refugee Response Plan (RRRP), which requires diversified branding designs that meet specific design standards. We are seeking up to two Online Volunteers to support the National Communications O luding social media content, event materials, brochures, reports, and more.

We are looking for two Online Volunteers who under the guidance of National Communications Officer with technical support from the IOM Poland Communications Team, and, where necessary, the Regional Office in Vienna, support us by producing 15 graphic designs for documents/materials. In particular, each Online Volunteer is asked to: - Collect information on document/material background such as target audience, design style, branding guidelines etc.; - Create draft design based on requirements and discuss with focal point/ communications team; - Develop the design according to agreed requirements.

The design/layout should follow our corporate design guidelines which will be shared with the Online Volunteers in advance.

The Online Volunteers will have the opportunity to build connections with the team at IOM Poland and learn about the ways in which graphic design can support migration activities in Poland.

Applicants should have professional experience in graphic design.
