Under the supervision and guidance of the Human Resources Manager/Officer, provides administrative, procedural and operational support and assistance to the efficient implementation of a broad range of Human Resources functions for various categories of staff and non staff (consultants/UNV/Standby-Partner) in the UNICEF Lebanon Country Office, ensuring accurate and timely delivery, whilst promoting a client-based, quality and results orientated approach to the unit and ensuring compliance with UNICEF HR rules and regulations.

How can you make a difference?

The HR Associate will act as an HR Business Partner working jointly in a team with the HR Officer/Manager and selected clients on the following HR areas:

  • Organizational design and workforce planning
  • Administration of entitlements and benefits/Contract Management
  • Outreach, recruitment and placement
  • Onboarding and Offboarding
  • Learning and Development
  • Performance Management
  • Duty of Care/Staff Wellbeing

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have:

Education: Completion of secondary education, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to the work of the organization. Bachelor degree is desired.

Experience: A minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible human resources work experience required. Experience working with an international organization/UN is highly desirable. Extensive experience in administering recruitment and selection process is an added value.

Language Requirements: Fluency of English and Arabic is required.
