In Afghanistan, many small and medium enterprises (SMEs) lack access to useful software tools that can boost their productivity and efficiency. By providing them with open-source solutions, we aim to lower their operational costs. In exchange for this support, we expect these enterprises to employ women, fostering gender equality and female empowerment in the workforce.
To that end, we intend to collaborate with Online Volunteers, with expertise in software configuration and customization, to support on the above endeavor. The online volunteers' role is crucial in bridging the gap between these enterprises and the resources they need to thrive while advancing our mission of gender equality.
The online volunteers will be responsible for:
- Identifying relevant and efficient open-source software tools suitable for general use by small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
- Configuring the software to enable customization of business-related details like Name, Logo, Contact Details, and Location, ensuring broad applicability for multiple SMEs.
- Offering basic technical support during the software adoption phase, mainly focusing on assisting enterprises in updating their business information.
List of suggested Software: 1. Laboratory Management Software 2. Hospital Management Software 3. Manufacturing 4. Campus or School Management Software 5. NGO management 6. Small Enterprise management 7. Sales and Marketing management 8. E-pharmacy
