Support HR operations and manage administrative tasks effectively.

You have:

  • A secondary school diploma followed by training in human resources management, personnel management, or public administration is essential.
  • A university degree in human resources management, business management, or public administration is desirable.
  • At least eight (8) years of experience in human resources management in an international NGO, private sector, or public administration is essential.
  • Relevant experience in a United Nations organization and/or in a non-governmental organization is desirable.
  • Expert knowledge of French is essential.
  • Intermediate knowledge of English is desirable.
  • Ability to master the rules, regulations, and procedures of WHO, especially regarding recruitment.
  • Knowledge of computer skills, particularly MS Word and MS Excel is essential.
  • Ability to build and maintain good relationships with people from different nationalities and levels.

Contract

This is a G-6 contract. This kind of contract is known as General Service and related categories. It is normally only for nationals. It usually requires 6 years of experience, depending on education. More about G-6 contracts.

OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME

Des unités d’appui administratif aux pays (CSU) ont été créées dans la structure organisationnelle pour aider les directeurs de service et les membres du personnel à assumer pleinement leurs responsabilités dans l’environnement du Système mondial de gestion (GSM) et garantir le respect des politiques, procédures, règles et règlements institutionnels sur toutes les questions et transactions administratives et financières dans le contexte d’un progiciel de gestion intégré (ERP).

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Le ou la titulaire du poste est appelé(e) à travailler avec un minimum de supervision, conformément aux procédures et pratiques établies, en traitant les questions de routine de façon autonome et référant les problèmes ou les situations inhabituels au supérieur hiérarchique. Des orientations générales sont fournies soit par le supérieur hiérarchique soit par d’autres membres du personnel de la catégorie professionnelle, soit encore par des objectifs et instructions à caractère général en rapport avec l’affectation des ressources, les besoins et les priorités des divisions ou des programmes.

On peut citer le Statut du Personnel et le Règlement du Personnel, le Manuel électronique de l’OMS, les notes d’information, les modes opératoires normalisés, les procédures, pratiques et normes financières établies, et les lignes directrices établies à l’usage des membres du personnel.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Essential: un diplôme de fin d’études secondaires, puis une formation en gestion des ressources humaines, en gestion du personnel et en administration publique.

Desirable: une licence en gestion des ressources humaines, en gestion des affaires ou en administration publique.

Experience

Essential: au moins huit (8) années d’expérience en gestion des ressources humaines dans une organisation non gouvernementale internationale, dans le secteur privé ou dans l’administration publique.

Desirable: une expérience pertinente dans une institution du système des Nations Unies et/ou dans une organisation non gouvernemental.

Skills

Une capacité à bien maîtriser les règles, règlements et procédures de l’OMS, en particulier en matière de recrutement. Des connaissances en informatique, et particulièrement la maîtrise de MS Word, de MS Excel et des compétences dans l’environnement du Système mondial de gestion et dans l’établissement de rapports. Une capacité à nouer et à entretenir de bonnes relations avec des personnes de différentes nationalités à différents niveaux.

REMUNERATION

WHO offers staff in the General Services category an attractive remuneration package, which for the above position includes an annual net base salary starting at MGA 25,610,000 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable) and 30 days of annual leave.
