English proofreading of a paper about Bureaucratic Capacity and Performance Between Agencies in Brazil

Ipea’s mission is to “enhance public policies that are essential to Brazilian development by producing and disseminating knowledge and by advising the state in its strategic decisions.” Its structure is divided into departments dedicated to different studies and policies.

The paper is part of a research project that investigates the configuration of countries' governance and bureaucracy capacity and how they influence the agencies’ policy performance. More specifically, the paper (around 7000 words) that needs English proofreading employs principal components analysis and regression model, using the data from a survey with over 3,200 respondents from regulatory agencies (RA) and ministries and executive or non-regulatory agencies (M&EA). The selected online volunteers will receive the text after the selection is finished. Any support will be provided via email. To help the selection process, a short text for translation may be sent to the shortlisted candidates to help the opportunity's assessment.

An English native speaker with professional experience. Familiarity with technical terms related to public administration and political economy. As part of the selection process, shortlisted applicants may be asked to submit a short translation test. Please upload your CV in English when applying.
