Design graphic templates for LS visual identity package

You have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts / Graphic Design / Visual Communication, or a similar degree is desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of one or more standard design softwares (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ professional experience of graphic design for print and digital media
  • Demonstrated experience in visual messaging and informational graphics
  • Past experience producing branding and style guidelines for a campaign or set of products
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • A creative mindset and strong interpersonal and intercultural skills
  • Motivation to lead the creative process from concept to final delivery

To enhance the professionalism and visibility of LS products, tools and guidelines, and to empower the LS team to execute effective communication campaigns, the objective of this assignment is to design layout templates as part of the LS team’s visual identity package using high-impact graphic design solutions.

Online Volunteers who are interested in this assignment are requested to submit the following: - A CV; - A portfolio / selection of previous graphic design work, ideally reflecting some of the desired deliverables such as a visual identity package designed for another client, digital communications templates, report format templates, infographics. - A brief proposal of how the volunteer intends to work with the LS team to achieve the specified deliverables.

The assignment is to provide graphic design services to create editable templates for key LS’ publications. Tasks and expected outputs include:

  • Participate in an initial online meeting to onboard to the assignment and clarify understanding of the required deliverables.
  • Understand the provided UNITAR LS Visual Identity guidance.
  • Produce 3 preliminary design concepts for review and approval
  • Apply the selected design concept to the following layouts: Reports: 3 title page formats and 6 content page formats for longer, text-based reports, including layouts for graphics and images Social media templates and banners for different platforms: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn. 8 PowerPoint slide formats.
  • Allow a maximum of 4 rounds of feedback to agree on design approach and layouts
  • Deliver editable electronic files in Canva.
