You have:
- Candidates should be native in French and fluent in English.

The contents will be used for UNITAR's Women's Leadership for Peace Programme in support of Senior Women Talent Pipeline
Topics include: the WPS agenda, peace & security, women's leadership, and UN peace operations.
We are seeking 3 Online Volunteers to support us by translating and proofreading training materials on Women's Leadership for Peace from English to French. To this end, the Online Volunteers are asked: - To translate/proofread approximately 50-75 pages into French - Ensure the translation is concise, in line with our communications guidelines, and fits the audience -Proofread machine-translated outputs
The selected Online Volunteers will be provided with the documents in the original language and/or machine-translated ones and will receive guidance on the target audience and our communications guidelines as well as other guidance as needed.
The Online Volunteers will have the opportunity to build connections with the Youth and Empowerment team at UNITAR's Division for Peace and learn about the ways in which the translated product contributes to the Women's Leadership for Peace Programme.
Candidates should be native in French and fluent in English. Familiarity with technical terms related to women, peace & security will be considered an advantage. Previous translation experience is considered an asset.
