We are currently in need of an Online Volunteer to support us in translating 2 video reports from Arabic to English. These reports will be published on UNDP's Salam wa Kalam Digital Media Platform, focusing on the themes of local development and peacebuilding.
We are seeking 1 Online Volunteer to support us by translating 2 videos reports (subtitles) from Arabic to English to be published on UNDP's Salam wa Kalam digital media platform. To this end the Online Volunteers are asked: - To translate two videos, (Video 1: duration 2min10sec, Video 2: Duration: 3 min) from Arabic to English - Ensure the translation/Subtitles are concise, in line with our communications guidelines, and fits the audience
The selected Online Volunteer will be provided with the videos in the original language and will receive guidance on the target audience and our communications guidelines as well as other guidance as needed.
The Online Volunteers will have the opportunity to build connections with the media and communication team at UNDP Lebanon and learn about the ways in which the translated product contributes to objective the translated product contributes to local development and Peacebuilding.
Candidates should be native in Arabic and fluent in English. Previous Video translation experience is considered an asset.
