You have:
- Professional experience in graphic design with a focus on document layouts.
- In-depth knowledge of graphic design applications such as Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- A degree in graphic design or related field is considered an asset.
Contract
This is a UNV contract. More about UNV contracts.
Scope: The assignment focuses on enhancing the design of an existing brochure. The content of the brochure will remain the same, but the layout and visual elements should be improved.
Resources: The current brochure design will be shared as a PDF file. Photos and other relevant materials will be provided to the selected candidate.
Support: I will be available to provide assistance and feedback to the selected candidate throughout the renovation process.
Submission Requirements: The final design should be submitted as both an open .ai file (Adobe Illustrator) / or (InDesign) and a PDF file.
We are looking for 2 Online Volunteer/s who under the guidance of the UNDP corporate Graphic Designer and in close collaboration with the communications team support us by producing 18 fact sheets for UNDP Projects. In particular, the/each Online Volunteer is asked to:
- Create draft design based on requirements and discuss with UNDP corporate designer
- Develop the design according to agreed requirements.
- The content will be shared as a PDF file, including the layout. We are requesting the creation of a new template layout with the same content.
The design/layout should follow our corporate design guidelines which will be shared with the Online Volunteers in advance.
The Online Volunteer/s will have the opportunity to build connections with the corporate designer at UNDP and learn about the ways in which graphic design can support the objective of the publication.
Candidates should have professional experience in graphic design with previous experience in designing document layouts, and must have in-depth knowledge of graphic design applications, as well as good verbal and written communication skills. A degree in graphic design or related field is considered an asset.
