You have:

  • Professional experience in graphic design required.
  • In-depth knowledge of graphic design applications is required.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • A degree in graphic design or related field is considered an asset.

Scope: The assignment focuses on producing visual symbols design to be used in various communication materials. The selected online volunteers will create 13 visuals symbols, each with 2 design options. The designs should be creative, clear, adhere to the provided guidelines, and clearly show the topic.

Resources: A briefing meeting will be held to introduce the candidates to the project. During this meeting, they will be provided with detailed topics for each requested visual symbol.

Support: Throughout the process, the corporate graphic designer will be available to provide assistance and feedback to the selected candidates to ensure the designs meet UNDP's standards and requirements.

Submission Requirements: The final designs should be submitted as both an open .ai file (Adobe Illustrator) and a PDF file.

We are looking for 2 Online Volunteer/s who under the guidance of the UNDP corporate Graphic Designer and in close collaboration with the communications team support us by producing Visual Symbols Design, the/each Online Volunteer is asked to:

  • Create draft design based on requirements and discuss with focal point
  • Develop the design according to agreed requirements.

The design should follow our corporate design guidelines which will be shared with the Online Volunteers in advance.

Candidates should have professional experience in graphic design with previous experience in designing document layouts, and must have in-depth knowledge of graphic design applications, as well as good verbal and written communication skills. A degree in graphic design or related field is considered an asset.
