You have:
- University degree in Foreign (English) languages obtained at recognized institution or other qualification obtained upon attending formal language training courses or any degree from the University
- Relevant practical experience (at least 5 years) as a translator of English - Russian/Uzbek languages is required.
- Fluency in English and Russian or Uzbek is required.

Duties and Responsibilities
The Resident Coordinator Office supports the Resident Coordinator and the UNCT in developing, implementing, monitoring and reporting on the UN Cooperation Framework (former UNDAF) and in all joint activities related to Agenda 2030 in Uzbekistan. The UN Resident Coordinator's Office has five core functions: 1.Strategic Planning 2.Economics 3.Partnerships and development finance 4.Data and results management and reporting 5.Communications and advocacy To ensure smooth communication with government and international partners, RCO will need the services of professional translators/interpreters during variety of online or in-person meetings, conferences or other events. The incumbent will be responsible for following: - Provide translation services; - Demonstrate strong communication skills; - Good knowledge of cultural and sensitive aspects of the country; - Ensure information confidentiality.
Qualifications/special skills
