You have:
- Graduate or postgraduate in Linguistics, Translation or relevant fields.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English is a must.
- Advanced mastery of computer applications like OCR, SAR, CAT, and MAT is indispensable.
- Ability to work in a team is essential.
- Extra managerial skills are desirable for workflow management.

This exercise has been launched to achieve bilateral objectives for both the UN OCHA Sudan Translation Unit (USTU) and the UN Online Volunteers (UNOVs). The first party needs the second's assistance to address the increasing demand for translation requests because of the surge resulting from a combination of political & security developments in the country, COVID-19 related increase in needs and most recently the political situations. Besides the certificate(s) issued by the UNV portal, participating UNOVs shall also receive documented acknowledgement(s) for their support and opportunities for capacity building based on team/ corporate translation approach known as The Information Technology Resourceful Translation Approach (ITRTA).
