Translation and interpretation
UNOCHA Sudan Communication and Information Section (CIS) would like to mobilize online volunteers to translate key articles, messages and other Communication materials for the website, social media and dissemination to partners. Most of the material will be drafted and published in English and will need to be translated into Arabic. However occasionally material in Arabic would need to be translated into English. The material will range from a few pages (up to 2,000 words) to a short media post.
Volunteers: 5 needed
6-10 hours per week / 1 weeks
This task will suit the postgraduate level students and assist UNVs improve their communication and translation skills. Volunteers need to master word processing skills, CATT and be acquainted with the use of other relevant technologies such as OCR-ing & SRA-ing etc.
