The volunteer will, to the best of his ability, competently and correctly translate the English version of the document into the Slovak language. The document is used to inform population about World Health Organization's recommendation about the heatwave and its influence on health. The text may contain some professional vocabulary in a small amount. Most of the document uses ordinary understandable words. Totally the document contains from up to 5 pages maximum in A4 format.

We are seeking for 1 Online Volunteer to support us by translating the materisla for #KeepCool campaign related to the heatwave all over the Europe from English to Slovak language. To this end the Online Volunteers are asked: - To translate the document, which is 5 pages in A4 format long into the Slovak language; - To translate some bullet points and recomendations related to the heatwave; - Ensure the translation is concise, in line with our communications guidelines, and fits the audience

The selected Online Volunteers will be provided with the document in the original language and will receive guidance on the target audience and our communications guidelines as well as other guidance as needed.

The Online Volunteers will have the opportunity to build connections with the WHO Country Office in the Slovak Republic team and learn about how the translated product contributes to increasing people's awareness of important topics and recommendations that have a significant impact on their health and well-being.

Candidates should be native in Slovak language and fluent in English. Familiarity with technical terms related to health and well-being will be considered an advantage. Previous translation experience is considered an asset.
