The volunteer will, to the best of his ability, competently and correctly translate the English version of the documents and presentations into the Slovak language. The document is used to successfully conduct online webinar of the topic. The text may contain some professional vocabulary.
We are seeking 1 Online Volunteers to support us by translating materials for WHO RCCE webinar from English to Slovak language. To this end the Online Volunteers are asked: - To translate the Power Point Presentation, which has 30 slides in it; - To translate the evaluation form, which has 10 pages; - Ensure the translation is concise, in line with our communications guidelines, and fits the audience.
The selected Online Volunteers will be provided with the document in the original language and will receive guidance on the target audience and our communications guidelines as well as other guidance as needed.
The Online Volunteer will have the opportunity to build connections with the WHO Country Office in the Slovak Republic team and learn about the ways in which the translated product contributes to conducting webinars on the topic of risk communication and community engagement.
Candidates should be native in Slovak language and fluent in English language. Familiarity with technical terms related to the risk communication and community engagement will be considered an advantage. Previous translation experience is considered an asset. Important is the ability not only to translate, but also to interpret the words (use simply clear and understandable for all people language).
