Contract
This is a UNV contract. More about UNV contracts.
These workshop materials will be used in several contexts across Latin America and the Caribbean, West and Central Africa, the Middle East, and North Africa among others. The colleagues using these materials will be those working in several sectors in humanitarian settings, including Child Protection, Nutrition, Camp Coordination and Camp Management, Food Security, Education, and Health actors.
Provide professional quality translations. The translations must be professional, well written, well edited, and accurately reflect the English original texts.
Translators will be working on 1 Rapid Guide, 4 Thematic Area Guides, 3 checklists, 15 PowerPoint presentations, and 40 other brief handouts. These will need to be translated from English to Spanish.
Agreements on daily and weekly work will be agreed upon per volunteer and assignment.
The documents will be shared via email once volunteers are selected.
The right candidate must have the following experience: - Be familiar with Humanitarian Response - Be familiar with Child Protection in Humanitarian Action - Be fluent in English and Spanish. - Attention to detail. - Have access to Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
