You have:

  • Khmer as a mother tongue and fluency in English is mandatory.
  • Professional experience with translation and/or translation studies are highly appreciated.
  • Interest in social entrepreneurship is a plus.

The Online Volunteer will translate from English to Khmer 5 online learning modules developed by Youth Co:Lab for young social entrepreneurs. The translation should be youth-friendly and localized in order to reach and engage with more remote communities. The set of documents is hosted online on Google Drive and is a mix of Google Docs and Google Slides documents. We will be available to answer any question and provide the necessary support. The Online Volunteer will translate approximately 5000 English words.

    Youth Co:Lab positions young people front and center in order to solve the region’s most pressing challenges. Co-created in 2017 by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Citi Foundation, Youth Co:Lab aims to establish a common agenda for countries in the Asia-Pacific region to empower and invest in youth, so that they can accelerate the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through leadership, social innovation and entrepreneurship. Youth Co:Lab has been implemented in 25 countries and territories across Asia Pacific.
