International Organization for Migration in Mauritania is looking for 4 online volunteers to help us translate a report about migration in Nouadhibou and Nouakchott (Mauritania) from French to English. The document will be used by the organization to make migration data available to English speakers, organizations and individuals and will help us to enhance the capacity of governments to collect reliable and comprehensive statistics and data on migration and to advance understanding of migration issues more generally. The text to be translated is 30 pages long/including over 20 graphs and images.

Protection of refugees, asylum seekers and IDPs
The report sets out the results of surveys carried out between November 8 and 30, 2018 by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) through its methodology for tracking the movement of people, otherwise known as DTM (Displacement Tracking Matrix. of Displacements) with migrants from the commune of Nouadhibou (Dakhlet Noaudhibou) in Mauritania.
Volunteers: 4 needed
11-20 hours per week / 2 weeks
Candidates should be native in English and fluent in French. Familiarity with technical terms related to migration and protection issues will be considered an advantage. A one-paragraph translation will be requested as part of the selection process.
