UNICEF Oman is looking for an online volunteer to help us translate 17 designs from English to Arabic. The designs will be used by UNICEF and ministry partners for all back-to-school messages across multiple social media platforms. The volunteer will be asked to translate the following: 1. A template into which pre-developed social media messages. 2. 15 static images (to potentially including tables, graphs, etc) for the back-to-school social media campaign. 3. 6 animated GIF.

    UNICEF is supporting the Government of Oman in developing a back-to-school social media campaign to support and encourage students (Grades 1-12) and their families as they start the new academic year in the context of the COVID-19 outbreak. The campaign will touch on topics including cyberbullying, mental health and physical safety, remote and blended learning, inclusion of all students facing different kinds of difficulties.

  • 6-10 hours per week / 4 weeks

    Candidates should be native speakers of Arabic and have previous experience with Translation/proofreading. A one-paragraph translation will be requested as part of the selection process.
