It gave the floor to practitioners and field professionals to reflect on the Triple Nexus paradigm - what works, what needs to be changed or revisited – from a hands-on and field perspective. It also aims to explore the fundamental role of (higher) education in humanitarian action, peacebuilding, and development in supporting practitioners to implement their multi-layered-mandates and address the Triple Nexus demands and leaving no one behind.

Objectives of the discussion:

1) Reflect and critically discuss the difficulties in the implementation of the Triple Nexus paradigm in practice and fieldwork.

2) Analyse the contribution of (higher) education to challenge the Triple Nexus's theoretical limitations and support in its practical implementation.

3) Explore possibilities for joint initiatives and collaboration between practitioners and field professionals from different connectional backgrounds and areas of the Triple Nexus.
