Translate instructions for the use of Marine Debris Tracker

You have:

Fluency in Spanish (preferably native) and English is required for the volunteer position.
Previous experience in translation/correction of documents related to gender issues, environment, sustainable development, or climate change is required.
Ability to work under tight deadlines is essential.
Interest in work related to the environment, sustainable development, or climate change is important.
Experience in translating official documents and understanding the proper tone for such translations is a plus.

Se espera que el voluntario/a en línea hable con fluidez español (preferiblemente nativo) e inglés. 2. Se le pedirá al voluntario/a que traduzca 1 documento de 2 páginas en un período de 1 semana, como máximo. 3. El documento deberá ser presentado en MS Word. 4. El voluntario/a en línea no debe usar la traducción de Google. 5. El voluntario/a deberá realizar la revisión en el idioma al que se traduce el documento, si es necesario. 6. Todas las actividades serán coordinadas con el equipo del PNUD en Panamá. 7. Después de la finalización exitosa de la tarea, se le entregará un certificado.

Los candidatos deben tener experiencia previa en traducción / corrección de documentos relacionados a temas de género, medio ambiente, desarrollo sostenible o cambio climático. • Debe ser capaz de trabajar con plazos ajustados. • Debe tener interés en el trabajo relacionado con el medio ambiente, desarrollo sostenible o cambio climático. • Es una ventaja tener experiencia en traducción de documentos oficiales y comprender el tono adecuado para traducir este tipo de documentos.
