Key Responsibilities:

Provides first and second level support related to business tools either locally developed, partnership solutions or commercially acquired tools as assigned by ICT Manager or Sr. Systems Specialist.

Evaluates manual systems for conversion to automated data processing system. Performs data gathering, analysis of business requirements and develops solutions through development/designing database and application systems.

Provides systems design and development based on identified needs of internal customers and to include orientation and continuing improvement/enhancement of developed systems. Develops, implements and administers IT systems for the organization and testing in different hardware / software environments to support different functions.

Responsible for system/application/software installation and configurations, proper maintenance, upgrades and continuous operation from workstation to server maintenance and actual implementation or deployment and training in user support level.

Defines/refines business requirements for developing projects plans, develop process/work flow for efficient operation.

Writes and implements programs, analyse and implements the information processing applications, maintain automated information systems.

Administers database integration, consolidation of data from different areas to a centralized/decentralized environment, reconciliation and maintenance of updates for different database maintained in the system.

Manages access to the system/ application /software and assigning user roles and providing security for applications.

Works with the Infrastructure team to maintain and develop and implement procedures for ensuring data integrity and security.

Provides support to production, troubleshooting, exception processing needs, data management issues, resolving resource allocation conflicts as well as other related production problems related to the system/ application /software. Recommend corrections to performance problems and assist in investigating performance-related problems.

Evaluates, recommends and acquires tools to support system/application/software and database administration function.

Domain expert in assigned technology. Provides technical consultation and sharing of best practices.

Responsible for technical documentation and availability of the knowledge base, review documentation for new or changed procedures in critical areas and ensures that updates meet established standards.

Monitors trends and developments in computing, networking and multi-platform communication technologies; evaluates new operating system and/or server and data software, hardware, methods and techniques to improve systems reliability and performance; plans and coordinates migration to new technologies, researches and recommends solutions to technology needs.
