Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Establish the PHINLA cross border Knowledge Hub that can be accessed by the members of the National & Global WM Committees as well as other external stakeholders.

  • Facilitates the definition of the Knowledge Hub’s mandate, scope, operating processes, maintenance, and access in coordination with the 3 country teams.
  • Within the Hub, create a digital internal library for the knowledge products and set up a user-friendly homepage to ensure knowledge management & accessibility for external stakeholders.
  • Maps out existing Knowledge Hubs and platforms having similar mandate and scope and determines replicability by PHINLA.
  • Develops the Knowledge Hub making use of the latest technologies, applications, innovative approaches and expertise within and outside the organization.
  • Recruits and manages consultant, as necessary, who will be engaged in the development and establishment of the Knowledge Hub.
  • Facilitates the conduct of system testing and improvement based on the result of the testing.
  • Facilitates the conduct of international & national digital and physical launch events to showcase and promote the Knowledge Hub.

Provide capacity building to the members and the officers of the Global and National Waste Management Committees in using, manning, maintaining & managing the Knowledge Hub

  • Orient all Country Teams and members and officers of the National and Global WM Committees about the Knowledge Hub.
  • Identify key staff from each Country Team and the PMT and train these staff in the management and maintenance of the Knowledge Hub.
  • Coach and mentor these staff after the formal training.

In coordination with the Senior M&E Manager and the Country Teams review, recommend and/or carry out the processes necessary to improve accessibility and usability of the existing PHINLA Program Monitoring Hub

  • Consult & agree with the Senior M&E Manager in terms of the scope of the review to be made on the existing Program Monitoring Hub (PMH)
  • Recommend actionable items for improving the PMH, if seen as necessary.
  • Carry out identified improvement processes in agreement with the SM&EM & in coordination with the Country Teams, which may include training the Country Teams on the improved PMH; and making use of the latest technologies, applications, innovative approaches and expertise within and outside the organization.

Others: Uphold the established and relevant cross country and cross functional coordination mechanisms and processes.

  • Participates, where necessary or requested, in relevant cross country and cross functional coordination processes.
  • Does other tasks as assign by the Senior M&E Manager.
