Spanish - French translation and review support for social media and communications

The UNDP Global Centre in Singapore has an active profile on Twitter and LinkedIn, which is used to share relevant articles, reports or information about the use of technology and innovation for sustainable development, UNDP projects. We are aiming at providing information in more languages, specially Spanish and French, to increase the outreach of our work.

For specific campaigns or events, and for regular tweets, we would be asking the Online Volunteer support in the translation of Tweets / LinkedIn posts from English to her/his native language or to review short texts in the language. An estimate of max 5 tweets a week will be shared with the volunteer. Additionally, for some events, the volunteer might be asked to kindly support in the review or translation of blurbs or brief speakers bio (max 400 characters) for banners or dissemination material. The task would include helping us to adapt the message or the sentence to the character limit of the different social media platforms.

Native speaker of Spanish OR French Good understanding of English Availability to react quickly to concrete demands Experience with social media and communications will be appreciated Experience on professional writting or other indicatiors of good command and perfect ortograph skills on the translation language
