Researching a broad scope of information sources, printed and electronic; compiling and presenting information for UNO Kyiv’s use in the preparation and production of digital communication products/services for target audiences is a high priority.

Within this scope, UNO Kyiv is looking for an Online Volunteer to support the office in researching and reporting issues and trends to analyze and understand public opinion and the media narratives.

The online volunteer will be asked to monitor and analyze current events, public opinion and the press; identifying issues and trends, particularly in social media content and use, including the UN’s reputation in Ukraine and other issues related to information integrity; evaluating the impact of content and campaigns by UN Ukraine; and informing management on possible action/responses using digital communication.

To this end, Online Volunteer will be asked to: - Research issues and trends in social media content and usage in and related to Ukraine - Draft a report (4-5 pages or more) based on the findings and analysis of public opinion, issues and trends identified based on the outcome of the research - Work closely with social media communication volunteers to develop content addressing these findings
