IFC’s Human Resources (HR) Department provides strategic partnership to the business to develop and implement workforce strategies. The HR department includes three Centers of Expertise (COEs) -- Strategy & Organizational Effectiveness, Global Talent Acquisition & Mobility, and Talent & Incentives – and two Client Services teams providing support to HQ and regions.

We are seeking a Recruitment Assistant to be based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, to support the end-to-end talent acquisition requirements in our Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region, in this recruitment support position. The position will report to the Global Recruitment Program Lead, based in Washington DC, with a delivery line to our LAC Recruitment Officer.

Duties and Accountabilities:

• Support and execute the full lifecycle recruitment process from job posting to candidate onboarding for all requisitions in the region, ensuring adherence to metrics on time to fill, workforce plan completion, diversity of hires, Hiring Manager experience, and candidate experience.

• Proactively follow up with Recruitment Officer and Hiring Managers to track recruitment status and manage the recruitment and appointment process, including posting vacancies, updating candidate status, scheduling job launch meetings and interviews, administering recorded video interviews and assessments, managing online interview forms, liaising with candidates to gather required information, coordinating on the salary offer, issuing the appointment letter, coordinating with global mobility teams on benefits and relocation, initiating onboarding, and administering the background screening process.

• Conduct resume review and longlisting, with due attention to business requirements.

• Provide a positive candidate experience by ensuring a clear and transparent process, providing timely communication, and seeking and incorporating candidate feedback.

• Track requisition status and relevant metrics to ensure timely and quality delivery.

• Support recruitment drives and batch hiring processes for the region.

• Assist Recruitment Officer in developing and maintaining talent pipelines and candidate sourcing channels.

• Support talent outreach events in the region and actively promote IFC as an employer of choice.

Selection Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of professional experience, including organizing, administering, and maintaining large recruitment volumes, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Strong business-level proficiency in English, Spanish and Portuguese, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all three languages, including preparing professional emails, reports and actively engaging in meetings.

• Excellent customer service skills and responsiveness to client needs, with the ability to manage multiple clients with high expectations.

• Initiative, resourcefulness, and creativity in solving problems and completing tasks.

• Positive, open, collaborative, and discreet, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and achieve performance metrics.

• Sensitivity and adaptability in a multi-cultural environment.

• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to interpret data and trends and strong attention to detail.

• Familiarity with recruitment and HR systems/software is a bonus.

• Experience as a recruitment coordinator and work experience in one or more LAC region country is preferred.
