You have:
- 2-3 years’ experience in Cocoa and vanilla industry.
- Certificate or degree in tropical agriculture.
- Certified training certificate (advantage).
- General knowledge in cocoa and vanilla value chain and development.
- Specific knowledge in business development and working in cooperative.

Key Responsibilities:
1 Project Management - To understand project design and participate in planning and project activity implementation
Support planning, coordination, and implementation of project activities in cocoa, vanilla, and regreening initiatives.
Develop annual and quarterly workplans aligned with project goals and DIP
Monitor progress against timelines, budgets, and targets, and report on achievements and gaps.
Ensure compliance with project policies, donor requirements, and environmental and social safeguards.
Identify risks and propose practical solutions to keep activities on track.
Maintain accurate project documentation, field visit reports, and data records.
Develop training IEC material on how to cultivate vanilla and ensure greener and cleaner environment as family business
2. Cooperative Organizational Strengthening and Management.
Work closely with farmers and cooperative or producer groups and Community Facilitators.to strengthen structure and organization for collective market access
Liaise with local leaders, farmer groups, extension services, and relevant government agencies to support vanilla processors and value addition training
Support collaboration with buyers, processors, and value chain partners where required for better markets.
Be more gender and disability focused in training and support
3. Foster an interdependent working culture amongst the local target communities
- Actively involving women d youth in training and leadership
- Addressing barriers to participation (time, literacy, cultural norms)
- Supporting inclusive decision-making at cooperative level
- Communicating project objectives clearly to communities
- Feeding farmer concerns and feedback back to project management
- Coordinating with extension agents, NGOs, and local authorities
4. Maintain networks with other NGOs & Govt authorities
- Promoting climate-smart cocoa and vanilla practices (shade management, intercropping, mulching, soil health, pest and disease control)
- Supporting diversification and agroforestry systems
- Encouraging practices that reduce deforestation and environmental degradation
- Translating technical guidance into locally practical solutions
- Work with Cocoa-Vanilla farmer group and Cooperatives, CBOs, youth groups and other agencies in the communities to share skills and knowledge on Climate Smart Agriculture technologies on vanilla and cocoa production.
5. Monitoring, evaluation and reporting
Assess and evaluate the progress of the project activity against DIP on a monthly basis. Support adaptive project management
Compile monthly Activity Implementation Report

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION/SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
2-3 years’ experience in Cocoa and vanilla industry and sound knowledge of the cocoa-vanilla value chain.
- Certificate or degree in tropical agriculture
Certified training certificate (advantage)
General knowledge in cocoa and vanilla value chain and development
- Specific knowledge in business development and working in cooperative
