You have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or other Social Science degree.
- Good communication and coordination skills with excellent relationship building.
- Willingness to be trained on project management.
- Sound understanding of the project cycle, monitoring (SMART) objectives and indicators is required.
- Good organizational, managerial, planning, and reporting skills.
- Ability to handle his/her responsibility under pressure.
- Works with minimal supervision and with cross-functional teams.
- English language proficiency (both written and verbal).
- Experience in grants management.
- Regular local travel specifically in covered Barangays for monitoring and coordination is required.

Key Responsibilities:
The Project Support Staff provides over-all supervision and implementation of the Pathways for Empowerment Project . S/he ensures that project goals and objectives of the Economic Development and Self- Care and support group component are met in the project sites ensuring targeted women are empowered and skills for livelihood are improved. S/he relates with other program partners for successful integration of relevant program components to Economic Development. strategic partnerships with various stakeholders to ensure sustainability and institutionalization of project models in the covered sites. Collaborates with stakeholders in advocating for local level support to activities. Demonstrates Christ-centered lifestyle that inspires passion and set high standard of personal integrity/maturity.
This is a fixed-term post based in Quezon City with covered areas in Malabon.
Major responsibilities
Communicates the goals and objectives of the project to government partners and other stakeholders, donors and communities for effective engagement.
Ensures that all strategic objectives are met through proper project design, implementation, monitoring, budget management, and social and behavior change communication implementation and timely and quality results.
Leads project level assessments, analysis of performance and monitoring to enhance quality of implementation, accountability, and transparency.
Ensures all aspects and elements of the project are implemented:
- Access to technical-vocational education and entrepreneurship skills training through provision of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority or TESDA-administered schools.
- Effectively conduct the training needs assessment Assist the project team in the design and implement a training program that will cover various topics related to basic micro enterprise training.
- Ensure the provision of startup kits, through match grants and provision of inputs to the beneficiaries to enable them to start their economic opportunities depending on the chosen microenterprise training.
- Conduct training for women on financial establishment of one Community Managed Savings that can be used for livelihood capital .
- Facilitate the Enterprise Development: through proactive assistance of the beneficiaries in developing their own enterprises and monitoring their business plan.
- Networking with buyers and market intermediaries and provide business development services, such as market research and financial management.
- Conduct value-based life skills sessions aimed at equipping the beneficiaries with positive values through workshops and training through Spiritual Nurture that is geared towards promoting spiritual nurture and positive values among children and youth by engaging them and their families in interactive workshops.
- Facilitates the activities of the support group for women on mental health, self-care and other rights based workshop.
Works collaboratively with other Partners and ensures integration to WVDF technical programs.
Consolidates and submits technical reports to donor and ensures that the project complies to grants requirements and reporting.
Ensures that all project issues, concerns, and bottlenecks are addressed in a fast and efficient manner.
Organizational Engagements:
- Attends regular team devotion as part of staff spiritual nurture.
- Participates in meetings, such as team and organizational, as necessary.
- Submits Performance Agreements and Staff Learning and Development Plan and Performance Reviews.
- Supports emergency response, as necessary. Performs other tasks related to the project assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education and other Social Science degree.
- With or without experience but is willing to be trained on project management.
- Good communication and coordination skills with excellent relationship building Willing to be assigned in an Urban Setting and is able to adapt easily to local urban context.
- Sound understanding of the project cycle, monitoring (SMART) objectives and indicators is required.
- Good organizational, managerial, planning, and reporting skills.
- Ability to handle his/her responsibility under pressure.
- Works with very minimal supervision and with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills Experience in grants management; English language proficiency (both written and verbal).
- The position requires regular local travel specifically in covered Barangays for monitoring and coordination.
- The position will be based in the LGUs of Malabon.
