Overview
Assist in implementing project activities and managing volunteer recruitment.
You have:
- At least 1 month relevant work experiences, preferably at the national or international level in the formulation, implementation, and monitoring of development projects;
- Previous experience with the UN system and government agencies, including solid knowledge of UN programme and operations policies and procedures an asset.
- Working experience with government partners, civil society is highly preferred;
- Knowledge in managing development projects in financial, technical and administrative aspects is a great asset;
- Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills;
- Demonstrates ability to effectively maintain relationships with different stakeholders including government agencies, academia, international and national volunteer organizations;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Demonstrates openness to change and ability to manage complexities;
- Good computer skills.
Contract
This is a UNV National Youth contract. This kind of contract is known as National UN Volunteer. It is normally only for nationals. More about UNV National Youth contracts.
