Support translation of localization guide from English to Arabic

You have:

  • Native Arabic speaker and fluent in English
  • Familiarity with technical terms related to localization and Child Protection
  • Previous translation experience considered an asset

Support Arabic-speaking coordination teams and organizations to have available materials on localization in their spoken language.

We are seeking 2 Online Volunteers to support us by translating Local Leadership in Humanitarian Coordination Practical Guide and annexes on localization from English to Arabic. To this end, the Online Volunteer is asked: - To translate the document, which is 12 pages long and 10-15 attachments into Arabic - Ensure the translation is concise, in line with our communications guidelines, and fits the audience

The selected Online Volunteers will be provided with the document in the original language and will receive guidance on the target audience and our communications guidelines, as well as other guidance as needed.

Candidates should be native in Arabic and fluent in English. Familiarity with technical terms related to localization and Child Protection will be considered an advantage. Previous translation experience is considered an asset.
