Major Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Coordinate and Conduct mental health RHS-15 screenings as indicated with newly arrived refugees between 1-and 24-months post arrival as necessitated and identified by the Mental Health Program, and with individuals identified as needing mental health support. - Enter complete data into RHOS system that interfaces with the Utah Department of Health on a weekly basis and track screen data regularly with Excel, Box, and the UDOH internal system. - Communicate follow-up needs and referrals to individual treatment to Mental Health Screening Coordinator and assist with follow-up support for clients identified in need of extra support. - Support program growth and development associated with screening and pathways to care – create protocols for supportive resources post-screen. - Work with Health Access and Promotion to identify ways to include mental health and wellbeing outcomes in holistic health plans for clients. - Provide and Coordinate Transportation to/from medical and behavioral health appointments for newly arrived refugee clients - Comply with all policies and protocols of the agency - Use personal, insured vehicle and/or public transportation (where available) to travel and transport clients and materials as needed throughout the service delivery area. - Support other health programs and office needs as needed - May train and lead the activities of volunteers and interns. - Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Education: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in mental health related field, Psychology or Social Work or equivalent experience

Work Experience:

Relevant professional experience in mental health and/or human services field required; minimum of 1-2 years’ experience strongly preferred; preferably with diverse/refugee population

Ability to lead in a way that recognizes that IRC’s work is best accomplished through the true collaboration of individuals from many cultures with a great variety of skills and perspectives. - Strong relationship building, diplomacy, and networking skills; ability to effectively build internal and external relationships. - Demonstrated success working and communicating effectively in a multi-cultural environment. - Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills combined with the proven ability to prioritize and manage time effectively. - Attention to detail and accuracy in work product. - Fluent in English, both spoken and written; proficiency in language(s) spoken by client group is desired. - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook); ability to use the internet and other digital tools for data entry, research, and problem-solving purposes. - Valid driver’s license and access to a personal, insured vehicle – reliable transportation is required.

Working Environment:

- A combination of standard office environment, remote work, and ‘field’ time within the service delivery area to perform the above outlined responsibilities. - Occasional domestic (non-local) travel required; up to 10%. - May require occasional weekend and/or evening work. - Flex Hours
