Custodians of Peace has been conceptualized by UNITAR upon request of the Commissioner for Peace and Security of the African Union. The creation and activation of FemWise-Africa in 2017 constitutes an ambitious attempt on the part of the African Union to institutionalize African women’s good mediation and conflict prevention practices from the grassroots level upwards, and to create entry points for female community leaders and peacemakers to more effectively access and take part in peace processes. Against this backdrop, the overall project will systematically develop the capacities of African women from a variety of backgrounds to effectively take part in mediation and conflict prevention efforts across the African continent.
- Produce flat-design illustrations and graphic design content using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Ensure quality output on all products in accordance with UNITAR branding guidelines and our partners' style guides.
- Agree to work on two rounds of editing on all deliverables.
- Ensure that all design materials and deliverables are delivered via email in an organized and timely manner.
Skills and previous experience in graphic design and illustration is required.
