Under the leadership and guidance of the Director, Climate Change and Green Growth Department and the ACEF Task Manager, the consultant firm’s core duties will include the following activities but not limited to (more details are outlined in the Terms of Reference, which will be provided to the shortlisted firms):
- Develop and rollout of a support programme to at least 30 startups (enable participation of entrepreneurs running informal businesses and from vulnerable backgrounds, ensure at least 30% women and youth participation) focusing on circular economy business, through at least 3 regional support hubs for startups. The programme is to include:
- technical assistance, coaching
- mini-grants to successful entrepreneurs
- market linkage activities
- Develop / make available tools related to the circular economy programme for other startups and startup support hubs: guidebooks, assessments, business development tools and guidelines in line with the support programme mentioned above in (2.a.).
