Under the leadership and guidance of the Director, Climate Change and Green Growth Department and the African Financial Alliance on Climate Change Secretariat the Consulting firm’s core duties will include the following activities but not limited to (further details are outlined in the Terms of Reference):
- Review and assess existing ESG Taxonomies
- Develop a fit-for-purpose ESG taxonomy for the African context.
- Socialization and validation of the ESG Taxonomy with key stakeholders
- Support engagement with international standards setting bodies to promote the acceptance of the African ESG taxonomy.
- Regular interface with the AFAC secretariat and AFAC financial Industry groups
