The documents will be related to child protection and humanitarian work in Ukraine.
The Global Child Protection Area of Responsibility is seeking the support of four volunteers to translate and proofread documents from English into Ukrainian (and from Ukrainian to English if needed). The topic of the documents will be related to child protection, children's rights and humanitarian work. The volunteers will be asked to start as soon as possible. The volunteers will be able to strengthen their knowledge of child protection in emergencies during the process of translation. The work of the volunteers is highly valuable and will allow making the documents available to Ukrainian-speaking audiences.
The volunteer should be fluent in English and ideally be a native speaker of Ukrainian. Fluency of Russian is an asset. A background in translation, child protection, children's rights or humanitarian action is an advantage. Previous translation experience of translating to Ukrainian (especially documents related to child protection or humanitarian action) is an asset. The volunteers need to be able to work under tight deadlines.
