The website of the Office of the Victims’ Rights Advocate (OVRA) serves to educate the public, including victims of sexual exploitation and abuse, United Nations entities, Member States, and donors, of the Victims’ Rights Advocate mandate and the activities she undertakes to advocate for and pursue dignity and justice for victims and in mainstreaming a victim-centred approach to the Organization’s prevention and response. OVRA is seeking to make the website available and accessible to local populations and civil society in areas with large United Nations operations, including in Arabic-speaking countries.

OVRA is seeking the assistance of one online United Nations Volunteer to translate a number of pages within its website that have not yet been translated from English to Arabic. The full website is currently available in English with some pages already available in Arabic; OVRA is seeking to translate content on six pages and approximately 3,450 words in length. Once translated, the un.org web team will update the Arabic-language pages in line with the existing layout and design of the website.
