Contract

This is a UNV contract. More about UNV contracts.

The United Nations Office of the Victims’ Rights Advocate (OVRA) is collaborating with the Chief Executives Board Task Force on Addressing Sexual Harassment, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) to develop a training module that provides learners with a clear understanding of the rights of victims of sexual exploitation and abuse and sexual harassment (sexual misconduct) and what a victim-centred approach means in practice. The facilitator-led training module aims to outline the responsibilities of each person working under the UN flag so they will know how to respond in accordance with the victim-centred approach as soon as they become aware of an allegation of sexual misconduct, irrespective of whether they are providing direct assistance to complainants and victims. It also seeks to remind participants that preventing and responding to sexual misconduct are not issues to be dealt with by a small part of the United Nations or a group of specialists. It concerns everyone and is a shared responsibility of all.

We are looking for one creative and motivated online volunteer to support our team to produce and edit a video that will be used in a UN system-wide training package on the victim-centred approach to sexual misconduct. We will provide raw footage and the required branding materials. We will provide guidance on how we would like the final video to look.

Candidates should have basic video editing skills, as well as access to necessary video editing programmes (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro). Please include examples of previous related work in your application. Work experience in the field of human rights is an asset.
