We are looking for an online volunteer who can assist us by translating two success stories from English to Arabic. These success stories will focus on the activities and implementation of our Peacebuilding project. The stories will be published on UNDP website. In addition to the translations, we are also seeking help with editing our project's fact sheet. The fact sheet contains key cumulative figures from 2022 and over the years, highlighting the different achievements of our Peacebuilding projects. The volunteer will be expected to edit the fact sheet in both English and Arabic, to ensure that it is accessible to all of our stakeholders. The volunteer will be helping us to increase awareness of our Peacebuilding project and its impact at local and national levels. This will enable us to reach a wider audience and have a greater impact in promoting peace and local development.

We are seeking 1 Online Volunteer to support us in translating two success stories from English to Arabic and edit the UNDP's fact sheet highlighting the Peacebuilding activities in both English and Arabic.

To this end the Online Volunteer is asked: - Translate two documents/success stories, which are around 6-pages long long into Arabic - Ensure the translation is concise, in line with our communications guidelines, and fits the audience - Review and edit the English and Arabic Fact sheet document and provide suggestions for better structure in case needed

The selected Online Volunteers will be provided with the documents in the original language and will receive guidance on the target audience and our communications guidelines as well as other guidance as needed.

Excellent command of English and Arabic Able to write in clear and concise way in English and Arabic. Previous translation experience.
