Overview
Manage employment programs for refugees and low-income individuals
You have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Social Work, or a related field; Graduate degree preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience supervising programs and teams with experience in economic empowerment programming.
- Demonstrated ability and experience effectively managing programs and staff teams.
- Experience working with refugees, asylees, victims of human trafficking, and/or immigrant populations with low English proficiency preferred.
- Commitment to the mission and values of the IRC and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
- Track record of success in program implementation and achieving programmatic goals and outcomes.
- Proven ability to motivate, coach, and support a multi-cultural staff team.
- Excellent attention to detail in completing, approving, processing administrative forms.
- Highly organized self-starter with demonstrated success in managing multiple priorities, as well as balancing competing deadlines and projects.
- Excellent communication skills, strong writing abilities, and networking and training skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Zoom.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle with current insurance, and the ability to travel regularly throughout the service delivery area.
