Last 2021, YPS consultations were done across all provinces in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). The results of which fed into the National Action Plan on Youth, Peace, and Secuity (NAP-YPS). To date, the BARMM government, through the Bangsamoro Youth Commission (BYC), has since pushed for the development of a Regional Action Plan on Youth, Peace, and Security (RAP-BYC). This undertaking is supported by the UNDP in the Philippines. The summary of the YPS consultations held last year will be most helpful in designing IEC materials to promote RAP-YPS as well as inform all stakeholders about the insights from the consultations.
The Online Volunteers will write one to two page-summaries of the Youth, Peace, and Security (YPS) consultations from 6 different locations as well as an overall summary document of all the YPS consultations done across all provinces in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
Candidates must be familiar with the background and have good understanding of the Bangsamoro community or have experienced being impacted by crises including disasters and conflict. Candidates need to be adept with the English language and has experience writing similar types of documents.
