This is a UNV contract. More about UNV contracts.

Proposed 5 year CAEPA Strategic Plan 2018-2022 CAEPA will continue to make gains in improving the environmental stewardship and livelihoods of pastoralists and farming communities within North-west and South-West Cameroon. It will build on farmer’s assets and integrate social innovation, improved technologies and collaboration in community-led strategies. However, while CAEPA’s work is rooted in sustainable agro-forestry and Livelihoods, it does not end there. CAEPA has recently taken a deeper look into the challenges within the communities it supports through a gender-sensitive lens. CAEPA is rapidly developing its capacity in gender-transformative development and is aware that it cannot successfully address the root causes of poverty and under-development without also addressing the inequality and exclusion of women and girls.

CAEPA is looking for two online volunteers to support us with writing and editing our Impact report from 2018-2022 strategic period. One volunteer will draft the report and a second volunteer will edit the report. The Director will provide all project reports implemented between 2018-2022 to facilitate the process. Communication will be through emails, WhatsApp, skype. At the end, CAEPA in collaboration with UNV online will issue a certificate as a sign of appreciation.

Volunteers must have a very strong command of English. This task requires strong mastery of the English Language and its subtleties. Strong writing and editing skills are required. Familiarity with technical terms related to gender-based violence and disaster management will be considered an advantage. Please attach a short writing sample to your application.
