Scope of Work: ------------------

Under the supervision of IRC Yemen WWB Response Officer and based in AAA the WWB assistant will be responsible for providing quality psychosocial support services to the women and girls in the integrated women and girls safe spaces (WGSSs) within the health facilities and work in collaboration with the health system to provide comprehensive care to the clients.

Responsibilities: ---------------------

In collaboration and under the direction supervision of the WWB Response Officer, the WWB assistant will:

- Support the delivery of psychosocial support services to women and girls accessing the WGSSs. - Conduct information and awareness sessions with clients in the community to disseminate information about available services. - Maintain regular contact with community focal points and community outreach volunteers to ensure a constant flow of information and feedback. - Capture feedback at the community level regarding WWB service provision and share information with senior management. - Identify and engage key “gatekeepers” within areas of interventions to ensure access of WWB teams and promote participation of the community in activities - Inform the Response Officer of needed supplies in the WGSSs and support administratively in raising the PRs and process the paperwork of payment requests.

Qualifications

Requirements (Qualifications, Skills and Abilities)

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Social Work, Psychology, or other related area. - Preferred one year experience in implementing social work. - English Skills and Computer literacy is desirable. - Personal qualities: Compassionate, Works well in and promotes teamwork, comfortable in a multi-cultural environment, flexible and able to handle pressure well. - Strong communication and facilitation skills.

Work Environment --------------------

Based 90% in WGSSs and 10% in office
