This task directly contributes to the UN SDG Action Campaign’s objective of amplifying inspiring stories of changemakers advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By enhancing the visual quality and storytelling of the 30th Anniversary UN Trust Fund grantee videos, the volunteer will help increase audience engagement, strengthen digital outreach, and raise global awareness about grassroots efforts to end violence against women and girls. These videos will support the Campaign’s mission to celebrate three decades of UNTF impact while mobilizing global action for a more equal, sustainable, and just world.

The UN SDG Action Campaign has partnered with the UN Trust Fund to End Violence Against Women (UNTF) to mark its 30th anniversary. As part of this collaboration, the Campaign will produce 15 short-form videos highlighting changemakers from around the world. Working with raw footage, visuals, and brand guidelines provided by the UNTF, Online Volunteers will support the team in editing and post-production to create compelling, high-quality digital content. Each video will run approximately 1:00 to 1:30 minutes.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Assemble and edit raw video footage, supplementary visuals, and b-roll into cohesive 1- to 1.5-minute feature stories. ✅ Incorporate branded graphic elements, including titles, lower thirds, logos, and transitions, strictly following UNTF branding guidelines. ✅ Add accurate captions/subtitles to ensure accessibility and high engagement on social platforms. ✅ Enhance technical quality by cleaning up audio, adjusting sound levels, and applying basic color correction. ✅ Maintain a consistent visual style, tone, and pacing across all 15 changemaker videos. ✅ Deliver final edited assets in optimized formats ready for digital outreach and social media distribution.

Expected Outcome:

A suite of 15 polished, visually engaging short videos that effectively amplify the voices of global changemakers, celebrate the UN Trust Fund's 30-year legacy, and drive digital engagement across social media channels.

Candidates must have a strong background in graphic design and proven video editing experience, with advanced proficiency in software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, or Illustrator. The ideal candidate possesses strong post-production skills, including color correction, audio mixing, captioning, and lower-third graphic integration, with a keen eye for maintaining brand consistency across a multi-video series. Demonstrated experience in short-form digital storytelling, asset management, and meeting project deadlines is essential.
