The goal of this assignment is to ensure that the stories of UN Volunteers from Ukraine are accessible to a wider Ukrainian-speaking audience. Since the original article is available only in English, language may become a barrier for many Ukrainians who would otherwise be interested in learning about the real-life contributions and experiences of UN Volunteers. By translating the article, we aim to promote inclusivity and raise awareness of volunteerism in Ukraine.
We are seeking 3 Online Volunteers to support us by translating the article on UN Volunteers from Ukraine from English to Ukrainian.
To this end, the Online Volunteers are asked: - To translate the document, which is 1125 words (3 Word pages) long, into Ukrainian. - Ensure the translation is concise, in line with our communications guidelines, and fits the audience.
The selected Online Volunteers will be provided with the document in the original language and will receive guidance on the target audience, as well as other guidance as needed.
Candidates should be native in Ukrainian and fluent in English. Familiarity with technical terms related to the service of UN Volunteers will be considered an advantage. Previous translation experience is considered an asset.
