The videos are roundtable discussions which were recorded in the context of the Festival of Volunteerism, a regional series of events organized by the UNV Regional Office for West and Central Africa. Experts from UN agencies, civil society and the private sector discuss some of the most pressing issues in the region of West and Central Africa, such as adaptation to climate change, prevention of violent extremism, and migration and refugee movements. As the roundtables were held in French, we want to add English subtitles to make them also accessible to anglophone speakers.

We are looking for 3 online volunteers to support us with - translating recorded discussions from French to English - adding the translated subtitles to the correct video sequences by using an adequate editing program We will provide the raw footage with the original sound and branding of our organization, as well as guidance on how we would like the final video to look like.

• Candidates must be fluent in English and have working knowledge of French. Familiarity with technical terms related to international development will be considered an advantage. Previous translation experience is considered an asset.
• Candidates should have basic video editing skills, as well as access to necessary video editing programs (e. g. CapCut).
