- Availability to volunteer 1-5 hours per week for 2 weeks.

The nine (9) Online Volunteers will work with the Youth as Researchers (YAR) Philippines Team and UNDP Youth Engagement Officer in the Philippines to transcribe, and translate to English, interviews with a maximum of 34 respondents. There are a total of 34 interviews to be conducted by the YAR PH team and the Online Volunteers will be provided with the recording for transcription. Each Online Volunteer will work on a maximum of three (3) interviews to transcribe, translate, and summarise. The content derived from the interviews shall be summarised into bit-sized content that will be used for the analysis of the YAR PH research entitled Youth Leaders’ Response to COVID-19: The Case of Sangguniang Kabataan in the Philippines.

The Philippine team of UNESCO’S Youth As Researchers (YAR) Program, YAR Ph, is rolling out the study “Youth Leaders’ Response to COVID-19: The Case of Sangguniang Kabataan in the Philippines.” Anchored on the objective of YAR, YAR Ph will conduct a study that aims to document the unique and relevant programs, projects, and activities (PPAs) implemented by different SK in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Youth As Researchers (YAR) Program is a research-led global initiative on COVID-19 which connects and engages young people to conduct research on the impacts of the pandemic on the youth. This initiative is supported by the UNESCO Chairs at the National University of Ireland, Galway, Pennsylvania State University, UNDP, and Make A Difference Leadership Foundation.

A working computer or laptop with good audio, knowledge and a proficient user of Microsoft Office productivity tools, willing and capable to work well under pressure
