- Experience in translating and reviewing texts in various subjects such as climate change, biodiversity, governance.
- Pursuing higher education or having completed a degree.
- Skilled reader and good mastery of writing and grammar in Spanish.

El Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Desarrollo (PNUD) produce de manera continua documentos clave en sus idiomas oficiales en América Latina: español e inglés. Estos documentos pueden incluir políticas públicas, notas de prensa, historias de éxito, entre otros. Para asegurar que esta información esté disponible en ambos idiomas, se requiere el apoyo de personas voluntarias que contribuyan con la traducción de contenidos del inglés al español, fortaleciendo así la difusión del trabajo del PNUD en la región.
La persona voluntaria apoyará en la traducción de textos técnicos del inglés al español, asegurando una redacción fluida y coherente en el idioma de destino. Además, deberá revisar la similitud de contenido entre el texto original en inglés y su versión en español, garantizando la fidelidad del mensaje y una lectura comprensible y natural para el público hispanohablante.
- experiencia en traducir, revisar textos en materias diversas como: cambio climático, biodiversidad, gobernabilidad.
- cursar estudios superiores o haber finalizado estudios de carrera.
- hábil lector y buen manejo de la escritura, gramática en español.
