The online volunteer will be asked to translate briefs, presentations, notes, letters and other documents from English to Ukrainian and vice versa. All texts will be structured around three main topics: inclusive development, local travel and tourism and air quality and waste. The length of the proposed texts is planned to be no more than 15 pages per one week. (one page - 450 words) This will be a combination of email exchange, Zoom calls and teamwork with Accelerator Lab members. The work is expected to take place from mid-August 2021 to February 2022. The UNDP Accelerator Labs is a new initiative and a global learning network established to address the development challenges. The network of Accelerator Labs surfaces and reinforce locally-sourced solutions at scale while mobilizing a wide and dynamic partnership of actors contributing knowledge, resources and experience. The idea is to transform our collective approach by introducing new protocols, backed by evidence and practice, which accelerate the testing and dissemination of solutions within and across countries. This will enable the global community to collectively learn from local knowledge and ingenuity at a speed and at a scale that our societies and planet require. Four key approaches sit at the core of the Labs’ work: ● Building on locally sourced solutions, finding things that work and expanding on them ● Rapid testing and iteration to implement what works and go beyond the obvious solutions ● Combining the best understanding, ideas and expertise to generate collective knowledge ● Accelerating progress
