You have:
- Advanced university degree in Communications, Journalism, Creative Writing, Public Relations, Social Sciences or a related field
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Proven experience in report writing demonstrated through at least 2 samples
- Experience in producing corporate products
- Previous experience in copy-editing will be an asset
- Familiarity with United Nations and UNDP report writing requirements
- Strong research and excellent writing skills in English
- High proficiency in the use of Word and Excel applications
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate and work with diverse people

UNDP, Enhancing Social and Economic Opportunities for Youth in Lao PDR Project, seeks to engage a dynamic and highly skilled Online Volunteers with experience in report writing to support the preparation of its 2022 Annual Results Report and the Final Project Report Year 2020-2022. Under the supervision of the Team Leader Unit and Programme Analyst of the project, the Online Volunteers will be responsible for drafting and finalizing the 2022 Annual Report and the Final Project Report Year 2020-2022 in the given timeframe. The incumbents will consult with the project team for direction on source content and methodologies.
We are looking for two Online Volunteers to support us with the writing and editing of two key reports. The below reports will be worked on by one Online Volunteer each:
1) Review an annual project report 2021 (30 pages) • Review background materials, including but not limited to, UNDP style guidelines, donor’s report template and guideline, previous Annual Results Reports, 2021 Mid-Year Review report and other published research products (as necessary); • Review project’s partners presentations provided at the 2021 and 2022 Annual Review meeting to be held in December 2021 and June 2022, noting information relevant for the annual report.
2) Produce final project report 2022 (40 pages) • Corroborate gathered information through one-on-one (online) discussions with PO and teams • Review and edit report text – including charts and graphs, as needed – of not more than 40 pages, ensuring accuracy and currency of all content • Finalize the 40-page Annual Results Report, integrating any feedback from UNDP management and ensuring accuracy, clarity and coherence.
