You have:

  • Bachelor's degree in International Development, Sociology, English, Journalism or related field.
  • Experience in grant writing, prospect research and general fundraising.
  • High caliber writing, proofreading and editing skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail oriented and possessing a high degree of initiative.
  • Time management skills and the ability to meet target deadlines outlined in grant requirements.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for being a part of a team that envisions a better tomorrow.
  • Committed to working on and completing assignments.

  • An interest in helping to expand the scale of a local NGO (small).

Wamulu International is seeking for Experienced Consultants of many years in Project Proposal writing work who can help us submit higher quality Project Proposals to Donor Agencies for their review and funding.

All who are willing to help ought to attach their respective CV plus Samples of the Project Proposals which they have written for other Organizations before applying to work with Wamulu International.

PLEASE NOTE: All applicants will be contacted by Wamulu International by email. Selected applicants will be added as volunteers on the UNV website. Volunteers who successfully complete their assignments will be awarded UNV certificates.

We are seeking online volunteers who can help us submit high-quality Grant Proposals to Donor Agencies whose scope of operation covers Kenya.

RESPONSIBILITIES: - Research and prepare written proposals for Grants, gather and format information to meet grant requirements and, ensure compliance with funding requirements. - Meet proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approval. - Proof reading, editing and revising of proposals for transmittal to relevant Donor Agencies.
